NHS Dental ServicesYou will be able to have all treatment provided under the NHS that your dentist feels is clinically necessary in order to keep your mouth, teeth and gums healthy. The charge you pay depends on the treatment you receive. You will only ever be asked to pay one charge for each course of treatment, even if you need to visit your dentist more than once to finish it.
Unless you are exempt from charges you should pay one of the following charges for each course of treatment you receive: Band 1 – £26.80This band includes examination, diagnosis (including radiographs), advice on how to prevent future problems, scale and polish if clinically needed, and preventative care (e.g. applications of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant) Band 2 – £73.50This band covers everything listed in band 1, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or extractions Band 3 – £319.10This band covers everything in bands 1 and 2, plus course of treatment including crowns, dentures, bridges and other laboratory work Urgent – £26.80This band covers urgent assessment and specified urgent treatments such as pain relief or a temporary filling or dental appliance repair |
Private Dental TreatmentThe practice also offers private treatment to complement the NHS treatment provided
